My New Alarm Clock

So, first off, happy Tax Day! I'm so glad to get another one of these super fun holidays out of the way. These things are just WAY too stressful for me, and we ALWAYS wait till the last second to do the tax thing. Arghhh!

So, what do y'all think of my new alarm clock?

Definitely cuter than my old alarm clock, but MAN, it sure does poop a lot more. And I WOULD like to sleep in a little longer than 6 AM every single morning. And sometimes the new alarm clock wakes me up at 2 AM. What the HELL is going on at 2 AM that is SO important? Nothing that I can see, that's for sure.

Princess K FINALLY figured out that she can leave her toddler bed any time she so desires after several months of thinking she couldn't get out of it (much like her crib). I have come to think that maybe the crib wasn't such a bad idea.

That is one cute alarm clock, I must admit. I've taken a different approach to avoid being awakened at 6:00 AM. I get up at 5:00 AM and head off to work before 6. Ours manages to sleep until about 8 AM on the weekends, and the baby monitor is a great alarm clock. Getting used to the "in your face" alarm clock is going to take some time, though.

6:30 to 7, every single morning. Today he strolls in at 6. I get up to take care of business and when I get back he's actually sleeping for a change. My wife wouldn't let me get back into bed because I might have woken him up. Sigh.
