It's So Beautiful, I Could Pee!*

5. February 2009 by Super Mega Dad 1 Comments

* Direct quote from Super Michael upon seeing a new outfit Super Mommy bought tonight.  And yes, he did go and pee after saying this.  Kids say the damnest things!

Super Michael was sick with a fever today, so he stayed home from school.  Naturally, he was pretty bummed out.  He's still young enough that he still enjoys school a lot!

So, what to do with a sick kid?  How to entertain him? How to keep him from getting bored and letting me know how bored he was ALL DAY LONG?

Why it's Xbox 360 to the rescue!  Thank you, thank you, Bill Gates!  You were my only hope, and you came through with flying colors!

But wait, Princess K is home today too!  Thursday is her normal "stay at home with daddy" day.  We can't have brother entertained and having lots 'o fun, and nothing for Princess K.  We know that she would start whining, followed by jumping up and down on top of brother (who, as I mentioned, is sick) and then it would start Super Michael whining.

What do we do with Princess K?  What could possibly entertain her as well?

That works!  Ah, the joys of the older generation teaching the younger generation.  They are just SO damn cute when they actually cooperate and help each other out.  Notice that the Xbox controller is now plugged in.  Yes, he used it SO much today, that the controller had to be RECHARGED!  What game were they playing?  Boom Boom Rocket!  Princess K loves to set off the fireworks!

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA STORM WATCH 2009!

Contrary to popular belief, it's not all earthquakes and movie stars here in Southern California.  Sure, I do hob nob with all the stars ALL the time.  As a matter of fact, I was just sitting her talking to Tom Cruise showing him these pictures and laughing about the 7.4 magnitude earthquake we just had a few minutes back, when it came to our attention that it's actually RAINING outside.  We quickly turn on the news, and sure enough, there's water coming from the sky!  Southern Californians are running helter skelter clutching their surfboards yelling at the camera saying "DUDE, we usually ride ON the stuff, I've never like seen it actually fall from the sky before!'.  And of course, there's always a story about some guy that trys to make it across a  flooded street and never makes it all the way across.  This is breaking news...it usually even interrupts Oprah!

So, the picture above is just to prove that, yes, we do actually have weather here.  Usually just one day a year, but it's STILL weather!
