Sunday's are traditionally cleaning day here at the Super Mega house, so we got the lawn mowed, did laundry, vacuumed the floors and did the general clean up thing today. Michael has been bugging me to put up Halloween decorations for the past couple of weeks, so I figured that I better get them done considering that Halloween is just a few days away. Michael and I worked on getting the spider webs done on the patio, then Michael drew "spooky" pictures on the walkways using sidewalk chalk.
Michael wanted to get all of the Halloween decorations up as soon as possible to scare his little girl friend from across the street. Not sure WHY he wants to scare her, but scare her he will.
The kids have their costumes all ready now with Michael being the blue power ranger (it is a Super Mega house, afterall!) and Kailynn is a little horsey. Kailynn still doesn't know what the whole thing is about, but Michael is pretty excited.
Tuesday is Michael's pumpkin patch day at school and Wedneday is Kailynn's Halloween day. The kids seem to have so much fun things going on at their schools. Michael really loves his kindergarten class and really looks forward to going to school each day. Kailynn is still getting used to her school and cries everyday that I leave her, but they always have fun things going on there and the staff is really friendly, if not highly underpaid.
Super Mega Mom and myself are currently watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Tonights episode is focusing on a Navajo family that had previously lived in a trailer. The design team created an entire "green" house that turned out to be really cool. It would be nice to see more and more homes designed this way in the future. I know I'm tired of those large electrical bills.
